Kempner supply PVC shrink films which offer great attributes of user-friendliness - they seal and shrink particularly easily - but they do have some noted demerits. In particular, these are the creation of fumes and deposits on sealing as well as relatively poor seal and film strength. In addition, PVC film is affected by extreme temperatures. The film will shrink in store if it is held at too high a temperature. More importantly, the film will shatter readily if it is too cold.

Polyolefin Shrink Film Supplies

Kempner supply Polyolefin shrink films which are particularly stable in terms of temperature and as a consequence, they can be considered to have a very long shelf life, provided that they are stored correctly. The material is intrinsically stronger and this also applies to the strength of the material's seals. No significant fumes are given off during sealing and materials will seal without the creation of deposits. Polyolefin materials generally require slightly more sophistication in order to achieve good quality seals and good quality shrink results but such are readily available from the greatest majority of equipment now available in the market place.

We have a highly efficient and very low-cost semi-automatic sealer and tunnel which offers very high output coupled with very low acquisition costs. Our range of automatic packaging machines commences with an extremely efficient monoblock automatic L-sealer combined with a shrink tunnel which has an output rate of more than 20 packs per minute.
