Seafood Packaging Solution for a large seafood processor

This was one of our more unusual applications of our shrink wrap machinery and materials.

We were approached by a large seafood processor that had two requirements.

  1. The first requirement was to wrap product where meat had been removed from the shell and then repacked.
  2. The second requirement was to shrink wrap meat on its own in a tray.

L- sealer & shrink tunnel 		We recommended that this food processing company use our semi-automatic combined L- sealer and shrink tunnel together with JC.

The result was a high level of output with exceptional quality packs, reflecting the inherent quality of the products themselves.



Timber Packaging Solution required for a large manufacturer of garden products

A very large manufacturer of garden products approached us for a piece of shrink packaging equipment that would offer very high output speeds, shrink wrapping a variety of components, to ensure that customers receive complete self-assembly kits.

sealing machine 		Kempner recommended the use of a high speed side sealer to be used with polythene film.

Kempner supplied the side sealing machine together with infeed and outfeed conveyors.

The infeed conveyor is fully integrated with the side sealer whilst the outfeed conveyor has been additionally automated to ensure that packs can be collated on a pallet.

We were approached by a high volume manufacturer of quality confectionery products to provide a high speed replacement to their automatic shrink wrapping line.

side sealing machine 		After careful consideration of our customers requirements, we recommended our side sealer. The side sealer has been successfully integrated into the confectionery production line.

The implementation of this new technology has allowed the confectionery manufacturer to substitute their prior shrink film with our Ultra polyolefin shrink film type NB and this has resulted in significant savings over their prior film expenditure.

A chocolate manufacturer needed a shrink wrap solution that reflected the particularly high quality of their hand-made chocolates.

Mid-sized Bubble seal & shrink unit 		The key to this successful solution was the shrink film that we recommended - Clysar type LE Gold.

Kempner supplied the shrink film and one of our Mid-sized Bubble seal and shrink units.

The chocolate manufacturer has found this combination of shrink wrap equipment and shrink film to ideally match their requirements.

An educational book publisher wanted to package some educational toys together with books.

The shrink packaging requirement was to shrink wrap the toy and book together to ensure that they are not separated in any way, and at the same time, benefit from the best possible presentation.

The book publisher purchased a Bubble seal and shrink unit to provide the overall packaging facility.



Exam Paper Packaging Solution required for University Press

A University needed to ensure that examination papers were securely packaged and could not be tampered with prior to the examination time and date.

At the same time, they also required high output speeds over quite a short period of time.

L-sealer and shrink tunnel 		We recommended our Fully automatic combined L-sealer and shrink tunnel (Compacta Monoblock) as this would give the customer the flexibility and output that they required.

Our polyolefin shrink film Ultra type RC provided a perfect solution for their packaging requirements.



Cash & Carry Packaging Solution required for rewrapping packs

Kempner were approached by a Cash & Carry chain that needed to rewrap some of their packs where the original packaging had become damaged in one form or another.

Largest Bubble seal and shrink machine 		We recommended our largest Bubble seal and shrink unit as it provided the size and packaging flexibility that they required.

JC was recommended to offer the appropriate seal strength and puncture resistance needed to deal with relatively heavy packs that would normally be wrapped in polythene rather than polyolefin shrink film.

The Cash & Carry Rewrapping Solution which Kempner provided has proved to be particularly successful.


There is simply no shrink packaging application for which we do not offer a solution.
