PVC
PVC
PVC is an amorphous crystalline product, where the polymer is augmented by stabilizer
and a variety of other products. PVC is particularly easy to seal and shrink, but
it suffers from relative weakness and a lack of cleanliness in use. In addition,
it requires careful storage when temperatures are elevated and equally careful handling
when cold. As polyolefin has addressed most of the demerits of PVC, its use has
declined so that it is now quite a marginal product.
